Abstract

|
Gas gangrene is one of the most serious complications of traumatic wounds. In civilian practice it occur rarely but prompt diagnosis and treatement is essential for life saving.
The authors experiance a case of gas gangrene.
Hyperbaric oxygen, penicillin, fluid and whole blood transfusion, debriment, amputation, skin graft with other supportive treatement were mainstay of treatement. We obtained good result, and patient was survived.
